100th Day of School!!!!!

Oh my goodness, where has the time gone?  It is a school night and what am I doing?  I'm blogging at 11:45.  I am definitely going to have to caffeine up in the morning.  Since it is so late, I'll make it quick.

It occurred to me today that our 100th Day of School is Wednesday.  Well, I was talking to my teammates and outside of one of us, the rest of us had not come up with anything.  We all want to do a few things, but if you guys are anything like my team, you know you also have at least 20 to 30 standards to cover every week.  So, although counting out Cheerios or making 100 posters would be awesome, there isn't time to do that and fit in everything else.

After discussing it with my team,  I told them that I'd make a couple of things.  I wasn't going to do too much, but then Ashley Hughes lured me in with her amazing clip art.  I mean she twisted my arm!  Didn't you see her?  Her clip art was meant to belong to me, I'm telling you.  I was planning to look for 100th Day of School clip art and before I even had the opportunity to start searching, her new set pops up on my Facebook page.  Her set is brand new and it makes you want to smile.  It's bright, colorful, and so I couldn't help myself.  I had to get it!  I don't know her at all, but if you want cute clip art, she's one of my go to girls these days.

Anyway, here's my newest creation.  I'm going to try something new (scary I know).  It is going to be free for a "Limited Time".  Eventually, I want to finish developing this packet and I will start selling it, but for at least this week it is free, so if you like it CLICK HERE to get it.

Hope you enjoy my little freebie and have a great day tomorrow!  I'm already trying to figure out how I may be able to fit in a nap :)

  1. This is adorable! Speaking of which, I suppose I better ask one of our K-1 teachers when our 100th day is. You can bet this little baby will be printed/ready for whenever it is. Thank you for sharing. (PS: I love your visual eye...it is so bright and colorful!)

    1. Okay, that made me laugh. I sent one of our k teachers a message on Facebook last week to find out about the 100th day. I panicked Friday thinking it was that day. Glad you like it and thanks for the awesome compliment. I love color :)

    1. :) Glad you have a little more time than I did. I turned these centers around in less than 24 hours - created, laminated, cut, and bagged... goodness! Hope your kids enjoy them!

    1. Thanks :) My kids were having a hard time with that early on, so I have been trying to make more complex centers to help them with their addition and subtraction skills :)

    1. Glad you like it! I LOVE her clip art! I'm glad that TPT has started selling artwork because I feel like it's giving us more variety. This is one of my favorite sets. I am sure I will be using the backgrounds again. They are gorgeous when printed. I just love color :) It's the artsy side of me :)

  10. I like this. I was just wondering ... as you continue to work on this packet for sale will you also be including recording sheets? I like to put activities such as this at learning stations, and always appreciate when there is a sheet for kids to write their responses.

    1. Yep :) That is the plan :) That's why I made this free for now. I like to have recording sheets and then one or two worksheets that go with the center. Once I have developed those pages, I will add it to TPT :)
